“Water Printing” Fountain in Osaka, Japan - video

This water printer may not be as 'useful' as the 3D printer we talked about earlier, but it sure has attracted a lot of attention to itself worldwide. The stylish water fountain which displays time as well as any artwork is one of the unique features of Japan's largest shopping mall in Osaka, opened to the public last year.

The printer emits illuminated water droplets in controlled patterns to produce letters or images already stored on a computer. Watch the water printer in action in the video below.
