RIM's make or break: BlackBerry Z10 - hands on vidoes

RIM (Research In Motion) yesterday launched its much awaited new model of Blackberry 10 (Z10 and Q10). Thanks to Blackberry 10 software, both these models are gesture based, which works smoothly.

The new operating system along with BB's excellent keyboard promises a very fast browser, the possibility to separate work phone and personal phone on the same device, efficient one-thumb control, as well as some 70,000 applications in the BlackBerry World. In the hardware department, both models come with a dual-core 1.5 GHz processor and 2GB of RAM. Unlike Q10 which has a physical keyboard, Z10 comes with a 4.1" all touch screen to give choice to new fans as well as traditional BB users.

Three rather unique features of BB 10, which can win new fans and make it very competitive, are its Hub, its work and personal separable function and its active frame features. The first two are explained in the videos below, Active Frame, although not completely unique, lets up to 8 apps run in the background while you can easily, via a simple gesture, access them whenever you want. The five videos below are Digital Trends' team hands on the BB Z10.
